Parker Hesse

Was he the one that was a high school quarterback? If so, he's made that transition look easy. He's been phenomenal this year.

Hesse is an all time great really. He has been fantastic all year. Today was absolutely outstanding again! Agree with all the things said about him above!
Really active player ... he has a nose for the ball. He helps make the whole D better ... hell, he helps make the whole TEAM better!

Hesse just doesn’t make mistakes. He holds the edge when he should, he sheds and attacks when he should, and he doesn’t get fooled. I’ve been watching all year - and it’s been a lot of fun to watch.

Spot on. Hesse is one of the smartest d lineman in college football. He really looks like he is playing on another level out there. He always just looks like he one step ahead of the opposing offense.

I know we all want to see A.J. out there more, but damn. When watching Hesse play, you kind of understand why he isn’t. He’s just a really, really smart football player.

Wow, this board is picky. One week people bitch about "why is Hesse starting over AJ". "He sucks" etc....now this week he's awesome.

Different people posting. Hesse has been great all year and today was just absolutely outstanding. Some wanted to point it out.

I agree, he's a solid player. I'm just sick of the fairweather hypocrites that flip flop on who to root for more often than the direction the wind blows.

sports analysis that speak about eppy not playing enough or discredit the coaching staff for hock and Fant splitting time are truely just not watching the game. Both players are really good and this post is not intended to slander the job they are doing. It is a compliment of how well hock and Hesse are playing. Coaching staff got this one right.

I have already owned up to being wrong about Hesse. Honestly, my biggest gripe was him having to be thrown on the field before he was physically ready to compete. The thing I like best about him is that no one runs out of a tackle once he engages them. He is one of the surest tacklers the Hawks have had.
