Drake at 133. Hmmmm…..
My guess is that this serves two purposes. A. He probably has to cut some weight to make 125. That might not be a part of his current stregth and conditioning program. B. competition is probably a bit better at 133. Honestly I think a healthy Drake is an NCAA All American at this point at 125 he should be be able to walk through this.

Drake may be an AA candidate, maybe not. Didn't he finish 7th in the B10 last year? That's a jump to AA. Hope he has made that improvement next year.

Yeah his arm / shoulder was all jacked up at the end of last year. He had surgery on over the offseason it as confirmed by Spencer after the SS. I think a healthy version of Drake is a solid AA candidate.

Drake is my pick to win NCAAs next year. He is essentially a starter going to a backup tourney. This is just to get some more competitive matches. Plus a lot of open tourneys have been 3 man round robin at 125. If it’s the same here and 1 is a teammate then what good does it do for him to go there?
