He did his single leg switch off instantly to a double and drove him straight to his back and pinned him. But really it was tied 4-4 and that 6 was his firm the 'winning' TD

Alright, TOPHER! That win showed some serious cojones, at least based on Vall's PBP.

BTW, huge thanks for the PBP. Been in airports and planes all day, and it's a huge help to be able to look through the match summaries. Strong work as always, Vall. Pre! Sec! Ter! Qua!

I like what I'm seeing from Carton. Jack is an absolutely horrible matchup for him. Topher struggles to finish shots at times, and that isn't going to work out well against Jack.

I think Topher is figuring it out from a mental point of view. He's always had excellent strength and pretty solid technique, but the light bulb hasn't turned on between the ears to the point where he truly believed. . . much easier said than done. That last match was an indication that he's starting to believe and will himself to some wins. Very good sign. Happy for him.

Jack's a tough match-up for most 41-pounders, but I think we'll see a spirited effort from Topher, at least. Good measuring stick for him.

I like Topher and think he could beat some of the guys in the top 10 on any given day, but Jack really is a bad matchup. Hopefully he proves me wrong and takes it to him

Longo was his conf. champ last year at Appalation St. and was a qualifier. Carton is not likely to hang with Jack but is improving and if he can clean things up, finish shots better and not give up cheap stuff rolling around who knows by the end of the year.

Lots of stuff going on. I'm back for Marinelli and Kem Dog for sure. And Gunther's mat seems to be delayed.

Kemmerer has the #15 seed, Hidlay of NC. St.
In on a shot. Suck it in.
Trying to counter with a crack down but Kem dog gets in "And two seconds later they finally call it"
Esc
2-1 Kem Dog.
22 sec of Rt.
2:20 togo.

Wait, did you just call Brooks Black "AA level HWT"

*getting one upset win at NCAA's, going 2-2 overall isn't exactly what I'd call "AA level"

imo

He was a blue chipper coming out of the evil empire in NJ and hasn't done squat (yet) in college.

If you don't think a 2 time NCAA qualifier and the current 10th ranked HWT in the country is a threat to AA I guess that's your prerogative. I don't think the world of the guy but he's several levels beyond Holloway. I have no issue putting him under.
