PD3

He says 5 D-1 schools have already contacted him. Delusional??

Yes. It took him 2.5 years to get an AA. No way does he get a 4 year by August so he can be a graduate transfer. Doesn't have anything resembling the dedication necessary.

I bought the Long stock after Midlands big time...defended him a lot in here because I also love a good redemption story. But McRib talked so much junk for having so little credentials. Yes, he AA'd at 197 but he's trying to parlay that into "I saved their jobs" and "took one for the team" when I believe it was weight issues that kept him up at 197.
Those Natty Bos weren't gonna drink themselves.

For starters there is no way any coach made an impermissible contact with this kid. I can't believe anyone wants him and with his social media unhingement and booze and pot penchant how could a coach trust he wouldn't drop a name? If a coach did my guess is his AD would not be happy. His Dad also went off again. Unreal.

What have been the latest gems from their twitter feeds?

Has a Carver crowd ever boo-ed one of their own wrestlers? Might be fun to find out for one dual and then release. It reminds me of MLB a few decades ago where a team hired a midget as a batter to draw crowds to the games. It would certainly be must see TV and make duals relevant again.
Bill Veck, GM St Louis Browns, 1941. Used Eddie Gaedel.... Had to use the bat boys uniform. Got a base on balls.

Yes. Mid 90's. A fill in. Black kid who's name started with an A. Went out against a tough kid and he looked fantastic for the first 2 minutes. May have been leading or coming back and hit the wall hard. Couldn't hardly walk back to the center. Stalled out of the match. I don't think Gable ever let him step on the mat again. Crowd bood the hell out of him iirc. If anyone remembers the year and opponent I'll try to find it. I'd like to watch it again.

So he's trying to talk to coaches not the other way around. Kerrys team hasn't been doing well as of late but knowing him I doubt he would take Downey up on that offer. Rutgers also has an abundance of talent on the team so while Downey already isn't worth the headache he's not a need either

Boy is he smart. Didn't his release prohibit the Big 12 plus teams the Clowns wrestle? Are Iowa and ISU not wrestling next year? As an aside, and partly in jest, it would be fine with me if we didn't wrestle them as we subsidize their athletics especially football and wrestling when we match up with them. Only time they get a crowd in those sports in Lames is when Iowa comes to town. Now of course I want to wrestle them but football is the worst. Zero upside for Iowa and only help that crappy program by playing them and God forbid if they win their Super Bowl. Off my box now.

Has a tweet about 15 minutes ago referencing a backup plan, and it appears everything else he tweeted between now and last july has been deleted.

Aure sounds right. What year? Ok St dual???
It was Aaron Aure but I cant remember the opponent. Would have been 1995 if I am not mistaken.

Edit......I think it was against Iowa State and he might of been up by one when he was DQ'd. I believe Wade Schalles was the ref that called it when he was on a knee and didnt come back to the circle quick enough. Groves or something like that was the ISU kid I think

Colleges check athlete's social media accounts. Maybe he wised up & realized his slurs yesterday weren't a good idea.

He's already transferred once so the only way he can participate at the D1 level again is to be a graduate transfer which literally means he must earn a degree at ISU by the end of the summer. That is not happening.

Yeah definitely let me know. My memory is foggy from all those cold beverages in the last 20 plus years plus this dirty cesspool that KWood keeps bringing up doesnt make it any better. Might need a penicillin shot for after the amount of time on these boards :)

Would love to see video of a stalling DQ. Don't think I've ever seen one. Wade Schaller was a ref? That's new on me too. Learning a lot today.

Doug Schwab once forced a stalling DQ on a 4 time(?) AA from Iowa State.

Dwight Hinson.

The biggest stalling DQ in an ISU-Iowa dual was probably 1977. ISU's Bob Fouts was DQ'd with 2 seconds left in the HWT match against John Bowlsby. Dual ended in a 17-17 tie.

Aure got stalled out by ISU's Ron Groves in 1994.

Aure was up 6-1 early, then was hit with 4 stalling points, and trailed 10-9 when he got DQ'd.
Thanks. Just went through 95 and 96 and couldn't find it I will look for 94 later.

Not to nitpic because almost everything you stated was true...the TV contracts are what are allowing D-1 schools to swim in $$$. ISU doesn't need the Iowa games anymore to survive.

That said, the dual with ISU will at least be competitive pretty soon. Especially if a couple kids follow KD to Ames.

Wow! This kid thinks the world is stupid. (Posted 10 minutes ago)

"hey guys my account got hacked a few years ago.. thanks for fixing this situation @twitter sry bout that but the real is me back"

Another match another no show. Why KJ doesn't throw him off the team is beyond me. He is photed pounding beers in a casino. Dear God what is wrong with this kid. Oh yeah his pyscho Dad. How does he ever wrestle in college again? What a joke.
WTF is the infatuation with this guy he hasn't done sh...?
