Do you think TD wasn't aware of how shady Pearl was?
I wonder if Pearl is good because he cheats, or if he cheats for the fun of it.
He seems like a fun guy who is a great motivator. He seems like he can coach, so why is he always cheating? I think he could at a minimum average 18 wins if he was playing straight.

I'm sure that Dr Tom knew some of the warts people on his staff had. I'm hoping that Pearl was not as bad as he is as a head coach although that is definitely questionable.
Pearl was the team manager on the Boston College team that got nailed for point shaving under Davis.
Davis likely knew what he was dealing with from the very beginning. Pearl has proven himself over and over and over again at every single stop to be nothing but lying, cheating scum.
One of the very few high D1 coaches who never actually played the game at any level. Slimy AF. Pearl is in it for Pearl. Always was. Always will be.
We need some more shadiness in our program, seems like the NCAA doesn't really care if you cheat, slap you on the wrist and move on.
He seems to be listed with most top recruits in the country.
