Penn State fans rush court after defeating # 1 Wisconsin...

Wisconsin is no longer undefeated in conference play?

I think Bardo was on to something at the end of the Hawks/Gophers game Monday night.

The conference title and any of the double-bye spots in the BTT are totally up for grabs.

Almost the entire group is currently within 2-2.5 games of each other and first place.

Am I going to go overboard in getting my hopes up about Iowa? No. But after winning a couple games and seeing things all bunched up like they are, I'm not as sure about the likelihood of the Hawks having a pretty bad season as I was when January started.

I would like to see the Big 10 start the season a week earlier in December and eliminate those 2 conference games in early December. The Hawks have always done poorly in those games.

The funny thing is that, for all the doom and gloom on this board about how we might go winless in the B1G, if we hadn't crapped the bed against Michigan at home, we'd be right in the thick of the conference race. Wow the conference is down this year. I also fear that on the women's side, outside of Iowa, the conference seems much weaker this year (Maryland, Indiana, Illinois and even tosu appear weaker than last year)
