Yeah, I’m not a fan of Franklin, but this is something as Iowa fans should know that the coaches should say as little as possible in situations like this. There’s almost no right answer to give here.

Yeah I don't think the coach should comment on it. That is in the hands of the AD and U Prez and legal at that point.
I think Franklin is a large POS, but this can't be pinned on him, unless he handled it poorly after being informed or if this was a part of a larger amount of incidents.

He was making a statement without saying anything. Especially after the AD made a statement about, they will answer no questions about the issue. What would you have done?
