Peter Jok on Purdue's grabby defense: "They were holding me. (Refs) told coach I was acting. I guess I’ve got to stop acting, I don’t know.”

I feel horrible saying this but if he would have made that shot it would have been one of the best GIFs ever! I don't wish any ill will on the Purdue players but that was as true to the saying as anything I have seen.Disappointed this thread wasn't about Pete breaking Boilmaker ankles.
Except I have no idea why you would feel horrible. Jok crossed him up and making the shot would have put the play on Sportscenter. It still might make it.I feel horrible saying this but if he would have made that shot it would have been one of the best GIFs ever! Clemmons left the ball at his feet for a couple of seconds while directing players around the court. Lots of officials will start the count in that situation. The refs were consistently bad both ways today, no doubt about it.
How about that bogus 5 second call on Iowa in-bounding towards the end of the game?
What was bogus was not granting the timeout.Clemmons left the ball at his feet for a couple of seconds while directing players around the court. Lots of officials will start the count in that situation.
Unless it's in East Lansing against Sparty.Clemmons left the ball at his feet for a couple of seconds while directing players around the court. Lots of officials will start the count in that situation.

But that means we should have been granted the timeout. Four comes before five. They got that right. We watched the replay and he didn't start asking until four seconds.

With a comment of the refs saying Jok was acting. It does make you wonder if the holding on Jok and the bad overall calling of most of the 2nd half, was about Woodbury embellishing the elbow to his head earlier.
I don't think that is correct, at least from my limited Google search. You can't call it at four seconds..

Huh? That's when most teams call it.You can't call it at four seconds..
They changed the rule sometime back that they won't grant a timeout at 4 secondsBut that means we should have been granted the timeout. Four comes before five.
