Nice game for the Hawks last night. Can't remember them rushing the ball with that sort of dominance for a few years. What did everyone think of Petras last night? Obviously small sample size. I thought first half was more of the same. 2nd half though... I saw some nice things. That slant pass over the middle where he rifled it in there with confidence (I think it was to Tracy?... could be wrong) and the patience he showed on the TD pass to ISM impressed me. Previous game si think he would have forced that one to Smith who was covered in the back of the end zone. Instead he waited for ISM to get open and left him enough space to make a play. Again... not saying he was a world beater, but hopefully these are signs of him settling in some and letting the game come to him. Kid has a lot of talent. Just needs to gain confidence and take a deep breath.
