Photos: Sen. Chuck Grassley delivers meals, talks inflation in Cedar Rapids visit

I would say welcome, but it'll only get worse from here on out.
The iowa middle class is being hurt by their 401k’s going nowhere/losing the last year, rents and housing going way up and energy plus everything else going up double digits.
This with a dem president, house and senate in control
Statewide common sense spending, tax relief and covid response was seen.
The repubs can hardly wait for Nov when the working class will show their support.

i agree. And when those things come back down, we need to look at how medical debt is hurting middle class families due to corrupt healthcare and health insurance industries in this country

Was? Still is and is still destroying private health care.
Private healthcare wasnt that great before. Obama care ooened the door for insurance companies to charge more and cover less, but corprorate dems got to feel better about it because those without insurance were able to get it affordably or free.

obamas corporate donors wouldnt have been happy if he went all in on universal healthcare, so we got left with the shit called obamacare

88 year old Senator Chuck Grassley should do the right
thing and retire. It is a shame that he does not have the
honesty to say: "The time has come for a younger and
more energetic U.S. Senator from Iowa."

Why do I feel like the total number of posters in this thread is less than the number of handles in this thread?

Funny, 1 year of Dems eliminated that massive Trump bump that made the middle class so economically secure.
Why didn’t Chuck pull out his union card and go visit his old job? He’s old enough to remember when Iowa had a decent manufacturing base.

Fail.

Probably because you're a delusional leftist who believes the percentage of mainstream America who favors turning America into a socialist cesspool dump, is equal to the support for said demise found here on HROT.

They’ve screwed my job. They’ve taken money out of mine and my wife’s pocket. We’re working class. They’ve screwed us and would like to even more. They do absolutely nothing to cut our costs. But thanks for your contribution to the thread.
So [they] control your entire life? lol Give us an example of how [they] do this?

Tom and his wife feel despite taking the easiest major available in many schools, working a job requiring a whole 8 hours a day 5 days a week with app. 12 weeks off , gov’t pensions and benefits that they deserve more.
Weekly parades, free cars and food, etc. Raises above col despite no evidence or requirements for doing what they are paid for ( kids being able to mature and think).

Wow.
What a maroon.
Stay ignorant. Short sighted. I seriously laughed at your post about 401 ks. That’s another way to tell you’re a simpleton thinker. Most of us are fine with the market going down for awhile. Why would that be? Do you know?

The ummm "policies and decisions" [hits] that just started coming and the won't stop coming since January, 2021.

Come on, no need to paint him like that. His politics provide enough room to criticize, no need to get personal and claim teaching is easy. I’m not saying it’s overly difficult, but it certainly requires a unique skill set.
