I know we don't play them as much as we used to, and I know Iowans to the West hate Nebraska, those up by Dubuque loathe Wisconsin and everyone hates Iowa State - but for those of us in the Quad-Cities area, the Illini rivalry is a big deal.

I meant to post this in the lounge as we are playing Illinois in football this week.

But what the hell, the sentiment applies year round.

Being old enough to remember when Iowa didn't play ISU on a yearly basis and being brought up right, I will always consider MN, WI and IL Iowa's biggest rivals. Well, other than our most hated rival, Purdue.
