A big swing and a miss.

The first film was very endearing. This film... not so much.

The Good:
-David Cross makes a cocaine-fueled appearance
-Alexis Knapp was back and sporting some nice cleavage, although they didn't get her as much screen time as she deserved

The Bad:
-Incoherent, meandering plot
-Theater full of tweens
-Anna Kendrick seemed entirely disinterested
-The supposedly "hot chick" that headed up the German team looks like a tranny... you seriously couldn't find a more attractive woman to play that role?
-Endless ethnic jokes that served little purpose
-A bunch of characters they failed to develop and only utilized for ethnic jokes

Thoughts?

Does this movie meet the Wahawks seal of approval?

I liked the guy from workaholics and modern family.

Everything else you said was spot on. Even my wife didn't really enjoy it.

Classic sequel and payday.

I understand why you wouldn't like it and my wife (no pic) was very disappointed. I would add to your list that the music was nowhere near as entertaining with the exception of the Green Bay Packer scenes.

I personally like these movies and just enjoy spending time with these characters again. I felt the same way about the subsequent hangovers. Where I'll be disappointed is when they gut the cast and have Brittany Snow as the Director of a bunch of unknowns a la Major League.... Damnit I'll still see it though.

Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber-

"No and I don't caaarre."

Took our daughter today since all of her cousins were going and she does not get to see them much. After 30 minutes she said she was bored so we went to children's museum . It wasn't that bad

I liked it, but it was kind of a disappointment. Anna definitely seemed disinterested as stated above.

Maybe because my family liked the first one so well we liked this one too. Not an Oscar type movie and was not intended to be. I thought it was for the most part, fun and funny. Then again we saw it at Brew Flix so I was drinking while watching it so maybe that made it funnier.

Enjoyable, we laughed, but not as good as the first one. And DSM was robbed.

Took my kids to see it and we all thought the first was way better. Music, story and characters were all more enjoyable in the first installment.

Why didn't they show more about Jesse and Becca... how they got together and maybe even him helping her again with the job and or getting the group on the right track. He was basically filler. The whole international theme was just stupid. They should have kept it with them trying to win again and the conflict of Jesse and her competing to beat each other causing angst. No Kimmie Jin? No dad giving Becca a hard time? Brittney Snow used her deep voice to help them win in the first movie, but no bass in this one.

I am a dork cuz I enjoyed the first movie... and that I wanted to see some of the things mentioned above. That said, they threw something together to make some quick $$$ and called it a day.

Mad Max on the other hand... awesome!!! Great action movie and lived up to the hype.

Or, why did Robyn Roberts (but no other B-list celebrities that had no other scenes in the movie) make a random appearance at the end?
