Modern still performs work at the UI. I suspect that anyone that knows all of the "story" would be unlikely to draw the same conclusion(s) that you did.

I did too...not until they were the Iowans. Most of my time was with the Maidrite and Collins.
Mike was the women’s softball coach at Oregon now I believe he is at Texas.
Mostly outfield and some shortstop. I played for Vigortone, Iowans, Aurora, and Decatur.

Spot on! Pete was pretty intimidating and Mike would paint the corners. Both could make you look foolish at the plate.

I used to do quite a bit of piping, but unfortunately, very little Modern Piping.

First of all it is spelled G-o-u-g-e. So your credibility with regards to understanding law decisonos is already in question... The state Supreme Court decision says Modern Piping were incorrectly awarded money for damages... getting profits from Stead being partially open during the injunction etc...

I don't think coming on this board to bad mouth a company and calling them "unfriendly" or price gouges is appropriate.
Absolutely correct,.. Modern Piping is good firm, and this is nothing more than the legalities of one of their contracts getting played out in public..

Sioux City's Penn Corp were world champs in that era I believe. Pete Sandman & a few guys from New Zealand. I believe the stud from NZ last name Schultz(?), died in tragic car accident.
You bring up a very sad memory to me. Paul Magan and Steve Schultz were both tragically killed in an automobile accident. Both outstanding pitchers from New Zealand playing for Penn Corp. I lived with Paul and his family when I played in New Zealand. One of the saddest days of my life when I received the news.
