He's been playing really well lately and Connor didn't have a great game. You give PMac those minutes and I think it makes a big difference. He was healthy enough to tweet....would he have make a difference? Who knows, like his length, some aspects of his offense but he's still not strong enough to play many minutes and rebound with any authority. Hope he can get back to help the Hawks advance to the 2nd week.

Could be that the McCaffery's are simply prone to hip issues. Did Connor have one or both worked on?Sounds like a hip issue. I hope it's not another torn labrum issue...
Connor had both doneCould be that the McCaffery's are simply prone to hip issues. Did Connor have one or both worked on?
he also is recovering from flu which zapped him pretty good.I thought Patrick’s injury came as a result of hitting the floor hard? Not some sort of genetic predisposition to hip injuries.
I don't think he took any hard falls against Michigan and he played 18 minutes in that game. He did take an awkward step and slipped to the floor heading towards the basket in the second half but it didn't appear as though he suffered any ill effects immediately afterwards. Maybe in a prior game? The only reason I mentioned a genetic angle was because of Connor's history.I thought Patrick’s injury came as a result of hitting the floor hard? Ahh. Got it.He lost his balance when he got bumped while up in the air in the Neb game. He came down hard right on his hip.
Yeah it was a prior game. I’m trying to pin it down on my mind when and where but, at my age, that’s nearly impossible 😀I don't think he took any hard falls against Michigan and he played 18 minutes in that game. Yep. That was it. Thanks! He lost his balance when he got bumped while up in the air in the Neb game. He came down hard right on his hip.
I wonder if he picked it up from NW's Boo Buie, who was sick, then started against us, played 6 minutes, then went out the rest of the game, puking his guts out...he also is recovering from flu which zapped him pretty good.
As hot as he's been from 3, I don't want him taking contested outside jumpers unless absolutely necessary. I thought he used the correct amount of discretion. He simply wasn't ever wide open against Illinois.Definitely could have used Pmac. I had hoped Connor was going to continue to look to get a few shots up given he has been scorching the nets, from 3, but not the case. Dude cannot keep staring down open mid-range shots when the d is shading everyone but him. He had multiple opportunities last night and took zero shots.
Okay I'll bite. WHAT tourney game did we lose?Don't live in Iowa, but it sounds like there is a nasty flu going around. Patrick had flu that weakened him and Pryce Sandfort was sick all week and lost 7 pounds and then lost the tourney game. Anyone in the area know what is happening?

Sorry, didn't catch they we were talking about someone whose not on the team......Pryce Sandfort (Waukee) lost in the Iowa HS Tourney after having the flu.
Hip injury.Anyone know what else he’s going through other than the flu?
