Lost in the bitter loss last night was a great line by PMac: 7 rebounds, 16 points and 3/6 from the 3 point line. I love the trend he is on, I think he's been playing better and better since the Big started.
Ulis and Toussant both pulled down 5 rebounds. They had horrendous offensive games, but the fact they found other ways to contribute is great. Ulis was also 7/8 from the line and had 5 assists.
The way we lost this game was extremely frustrating, but fighting on the road to make double overtime in a game where your best player is having his worst game is a testament to the fact this team BATTTLES. Games on the road in the Big are never easy and we've come close at Rutgers, Purdue and Penn State. I think this team will steal a big road win before long. Maybe OSU. When this team learns to close on the road, it will be a dangerous tournament team.
