Police Officer shot in Louisville

No. Do you believe police should be defunded? Do you believe in the socialist beliefs AOC desires and Biden aims to appoint? Do you believe in open borders? Higher taxes? I’m not a one issue person. Sure there are things that irritate me about Trump, but the daily propaganda from the liberal media and these crazy ideas do nothing for me.
Ah Socialism again, what's that and where do AOC and Bernie stack up on the chart?

Has Biden said he wants to abolish the police? Who said anything about open borders? AOC is a single congresswoman. Biden hasn’t adopted her politics. Higher taxes come with higher spending, running endless deficits isn’t conservative.

Will never vote for socialism. The left has embraced it. Look who Biden has talking in his ear?

Biden has taken tons of corporate money. That’s who’s in Biden’s ear. Obama wasn’t a socialist and neither is Biden. For all the socialist talk, Washington State and California have the most successful corporations in this country.

He doesn't want to be the President for all. People like you and anyone that marches in the streets over the bs we've seen, especially those destroying property and interrupting productive society, don't deserve this country. Pretty simple. He's the American President, and if you don't like America, you can GTFO.
Aren't you the queef who consistently digs at baseball for supposedly not being athletic when your handle is about golf? Or are you the funny parody account?

Shouldn’t you be doing something other than posting on here day and night about Trump? I though you were some kinda MD PHD type? The guys I know that do that are way too busy to post with your type of frequency and fervor.
Just blowing off some steam after clinic yesterday. And I’m kind of in between some projects right now. My wife had surgery recently and I decided to take some tIme to be at home with her. Ratcheted down my lab a bit and just do clinical trial evaluations, and writing up a couple manuscripts. Starting next week I’ll be far busier through December, so I’m getting in my last shots before the election.

It's amazing that you took the time to explain things rationally to a bigoted physician. It says much about you and even less about the other individual.

Trump made people burn down buildings? He is one powerful mofo

Certainly not and you're smarter than that or so you pretend to be.

He certainly loves to fan the flames though to the point Twitter banned the post but left it up. Most Presidents would try to calm the violence.

The problem is they did knock. Even neighbors said they heard police identify themselves before entering. The neighbors could hear, but the people inside couldn’t? Also, what are the police supposed to do when a person inside the house starts firing their gun at them? Are they supposed to run away? What the hell are these people protesting? It is a tragic situation, but not police brutality.
The problem started with a police mistake on the location. Pure and simple. And if you're inside your apartment and somebody breaks in at 12:30AM and you don't know who it is... you're going to start firing, too.

The cops effed this up to get to this point. Some of the cops were firing thru walls without knowing what they were shooting at.

This is why we have rogue cops... Some people are constantly excusing every police action.

I wouldn't want to be a LEO anywhere in the country, but particularly in a large urban area.

Law enforcement needs way more training in multiple areas. They need to do better screening of candidates. Back to the thread, these kinds of attacks on officers, while not justified in any way, are partially the result of LEOs protecting their own.

Hopefully the officers who were shot are able to fully recover.

For the love of God, police knocked on the door and announced who they were. This has been corroborated by neighbors who heard it also. It’s pretty easy to avoid being arrested or charged with a crime if all it takes is not answering the door when police are there.

I can't believe I'm defending Rand Paul, but he was on Fox yesterday and was very critical of the "no knock" warrants, so I'm not sure there is universal agreement on what happened. I think what we've seen is a "circling of the wagons" by LEO and perhaps some pressure on those other apartment residents to claim something else.

What's also been verified is some of the officers fired blindly without knowing what they were shooting at.

This is on the cops and now we're seeing law enforcement cover their asses.

The officer who was charged was outside the house, and wasn't fired upon. He shot blindly into the house through a window. That's why he was charged and the other 2 weren't, including the cop who's bullet was determined to be fatal (by the FBI).

Only 1 neighbor out of several said they heard the police announce themselves.

How many neighbors should have heard?

Law enforcement has been forced to defend bad cops. Mayors and Governors doing the same.

These protests and riots are out of frustration. No one wants violence.

I would love to see the media press Trump on what his definition of "LAW AND ORDER" is.

My translation is suppression by an iron fist approach. For whatever reason, he thinks a heavy hand is the only way to reduce crime, rather than bothering to look at the root causes. How is that working out for him so far?
He's Nixon wannabe, and far more corrupt.

It is not clear if the police announced themselves. There are conflicting reports.

My blowing off steam usually involves a bike ride and some beer:). But after my shift I do tend to check out the goings on on HROT as well so thanks for the reply. Good luck with it all.

Part of the problem is since her surgery she’s been having some nocturnal incontinence, and despite ‘protection’ she has a bladder the size of a Clydesdale’s. I’m a bit sleep deprived.
I honestly think she could be a case study for “Poise.”

Didn’t you just start a thread about eradicating all white people a few weeks ago ?
I think I started a thread on racism. Last I checked most of the racists were white. Your group is doing an excellent job killing non whites.

Oh man. That’s rough. Especially when you’re trying to sleep. Sounds like overflow. Best of luck. Even though you’re a damn communist :)
