Popeyes spicy slightly ahead of Wendy's spicy for me. Chick Fil A is overrated in my opinion.

Want to try the Popeye's though. Had CFA a couple times...good but nothing all that special. Used to have the McD's version a lot back in the 90's but it's been a decade at least for them. Don't believe I've tried any of the others more than 1-2 times.

CFA does have way better sauces as their CFA sauce and Polynesian sauces are both better than anything Popeyes offers (but not as good as Guthrie’s sauce which was cloned/stolen by Zaxby’s, Zaccados, Raising Cane’s and PDQ amongst others). But the actual chicken itself as well as the bun are miles better at Popeyes than CFA. CFA chicken is always mushy with soft and wet breading, I’ve never been a fan of their actual chicken. It’s only good if you drown it in sauce.
And good news! At least in Florida, you can buy CFA sauces in Publix. So you can get the best of both worlds by ordering the much better Popeyes sandwich and then dowsing it in CFA or Polynesian sauce.

i agree their chicken is better, larger and I really like the crisp. However CFA has better spices while Popeyes uses sauce to create their spicy sandwich.
But you know and I know the chicken piece size on the ole popeyes is like 2x cfa. I think that's a better value proposition and it's _cheaper_.

Follow this one simple trick and never be disappointed in Popeyes again. Only works when you're flying solo and assuming you have no allergies to Popeyes' menu. What you do is you order the cheapest thing from the menu at the drive through. Then you're happy if you get it. Or thrilled if you get someone's more expensive order

If you hit a one-in-a-thousand chance and somehow happen upon a well-managed Popeyes with good employees, it is the best. But that is super, super rare.

I legitmately think it might be a hybrid homeless shelter/fast food restaurant.
I wonder how the Moline one is with their proximity to a well establish trailer park. It could be pretty fire.

never have product. when they're not fighting with each other they're very rude to customers. was actually told that they wouldn't even take orders from lobby due to six cars in drive thru. I truly love Popeyes but this Moline location needs to be shut down for extensive training on customer service as well as proper ordering of product. if the staff and the franchise owner can't get their act together then they should just close down. By far the worst Popeyes I've ever had the displeasure of going to. I forgot about items that were purchased not even getting into the bag.

Service is terrible!!! I pulled into the drive thru at 7pm on a Friday night and noticed there was an empty parking lot and nobody in the drive thru. I was greeted with "I'm gonna need a minute." I waited for at least 5 minutes and then the guy gets back on the speaker and said "I'm ready for your order but I'm only accepting exact change, credit or debit and if so I'll take your order." Seriously?! What a pleasant way to greet customers. I ordered a 12pc meal and he then he says " it's going to be a long wait because we just had a big group." When I asked how long of a wait he said 25-30 mins. Literally all they make here is chicken... and you don't have chicken prepared for a Friday night?! I'm glad I took my business elsewhere because I'm seeing bad reviews about the food too. They might as well just close this place down because what a joke!

If I could give 0 stars I would. horrible service. employees too busy outside making tik toks, food is always horrible. I thought maybe after not coming here for a year it might be better but nope. never again.
