I shouldn't guess because I will likely jinx them....but I think Iowa by 7 to 10 points where the Hawks score around 80 points.

7 of the 14 players on Marquette's roster are freshman.

The difference in front line defense is more likely to affect defense than offense. A Hawkeye win would probably give us this result: Hawks 80, MU 70.

Marquette will likely sit in a zone so it will come down to whether the Hawks can shoot the ball from the outside. I think we have more guys that can so I like Iowa to get it done 70 to 63.

Marquette wins it by less than 10. I disagree with Gridiron, though, in that I still give the Hawks a shot at squeezing into the NCAA tourney.

I think Iowa by more than 6. Marquette has a boatload of talent but I don't think they'll be clicking until later on in the season. Iowa has a lot of experience and will just need a couple guys to step it up off the bench tonight

Iowa by around ten, maybe 80-70. As Cy said, Marquette has talent, but not a lot of experience. This would be the kind of win that looks better in March than in Nov.

Thats kinda what Im thinking, as long as Iowa's experience shows up

I pegged Marquette to be a top 25 team right now, but they have really disappointed so far.

The matchup I am interested in watching tonight is Woodbury vs Marquette's 5 star freshman Ellenson.

Let's go Hawks!!!! Another victory by the Hawkeyes tonight. Not sure of ending score but I'm thinking Hawks by 12.

Hawks win! Hawks win! Hawks win! We need this one tonight and I think we get it pretty easily. They will be more athletic, but it shouldn't matter. 72-60- Iowa.

Can I change my guess?

I supported the idea of a 80-70 Hawk win. That was off on the offensive and defensive end. But I think I was mostly off on the offense. It's nice to have a great-shooting team. I think that contributed to the low MU score- they just didn't have very many transition possessions.
