This is the second poll in a series to predict the Team Title.

Part I was posted in October.
The HR gave Iowa only a slight edge for the team title, by a total of 28 (57%) votes to 21 (43%) votes. The most common margin-of-victory prediction for either team was 5.5-10 pts -- but get this, at clips of 54% of Iowa votes and 52% of PSU votes. It doesn't get much more bipartisan than that.

What we now know with more confidence:
• Iowa's intended 133 will be DeSanto and not Teasdale
• Iowa's intended 141 is most likely
Murin, and not DeSanto
• PSU's intended 184 is Brooks and not Rasheed
• PSU's intended 197 is most likely Rasheed and not Cassar Conel

New uncertainties:
• PSU's 285
• KMF's assertion that Spencer Lee will not compete in NCAA wrestling the remainder of the season, now that he is qualified for OTT. ;)

As we head into Midlands, what are folks predicting for the NCAA Championships outcome, now?

Id say Eirmans status is a new uncertainty. If Cassar and Shakur are healthy IMO we need Jaydin. The difference between he and Murin is likely at least 10 + points if you consider placing and bonus points. Dude can flat out put people on their back. A couple of Pins might be the difference in the team race. Its gonna be that close.

If Rasheed and Cassar are healthy, and Eierman doesn't wrestle, PSU will win. If all 3 are in (and full strength), it will be an awesome tournament with head to heads likely winning the tournament.

Potential semi's or finals matches
DeSanto v RBY
Eierman v Lee
Young v Berge
Bull v Cenzo
Kem v Hall
Cass v Cassar

Too many unknowns and too close to call. Ask me after big tens.

While I generally agree, I'm creating these polls in part to document how sentiment fluctuates (if at all) over the course of the season as new developments come our way. It's probably safe to assume more fans than ever in the past 8-9 years are really excited about following the season. It will be part of the fun to document the fan drama. Or we may just see straight party lines the whole way. ;)

Id say Eirmans status is a new uncertainty . . .

Good point -- I overlooked including that in there. Yes, it is a huge consideration.

you lost all credibility when you asserted KMF’s nonsense is valid.

1. Disingenuous post. I've never had any credibility in your view. Can't lose what I don't have.
2. Winky face. Implied the opposite of an assertion in that context.

You ok, man? Your attacks the past few months have been a little below standard.

you have plenty of credibility; you are the only regular PSU poster that I have chosen to not ignore. Good day.

Warner v Rasheed may fit that list too. Not as finalists but a possible semi or quarter.

A lot depends on Caesar and if he can go or not. They are definitely fine at 184 and now at 197 assuming Rasheed is healthy but obvious question marks at 125, 149 and now possibly hwt. About time psu had some bad luck
