Games against Serbia and France were both great to watch.
Great Olympics! I drank some beer watching this one. Gotta go with the Alaskan bicyclist through the streets of Paris, beautiful.

I loved the whole Turkish shooter thing.
One amazing thing catching some attention: we tied China on gold and won the most gold contest due to having more silver.
The maligned Algerian boxer defeated a Chinese women. Had she not won, China beats US in gold count.
Another vote for Curry and the basketball team. I’ll always remember this Olympics for the men’s and women’s teams and Raygun the really bad breakdancing lady.

Man Sydney Mclaughlin was an absolute beast. I'm kind of partial to that. The photo finishes in swimming too. A huge thing that I'm surprised you didn't mention was that the US women's soccer team is back and not even playing great.

For me it was easily men’s 1500m where two completely ignored Americans stole the show over the two favorites who had been squabbling as if they were auditioning for Real Housewives.
Fisher the 1st American to medal in the 5k and 10k for Team 🇺🇸 needs a mention as well.
I don’t understand sports fans who hate on The Olympics. I’ve always loved them. Hopefully I can attend in 2028.
My wife is not happy that my kids (4 and 6) are demanding that we go in 4 years. She brings up the "with what money" argument. I told her that she was right because we won't have any money after I blow it all at the World Cup two years earlier.

The highlight of this Olympiad had to be the “Opening Ceremomny” that got so many evangelical “Christians” up in arms thinking the Committee was mocking the Last Supper……absolutely classical ‘me-first” thinking….typical evangelical victimhood on display. Evangelicals are not the sharpest knives in the drawer.
