Porter Moser will have his pick of jobs

Moser feels comfortable with Loyola. He is loyal to them.
He had a bad experience as coach at Illinois State. Loyola
hired him and gave him another chance. Sometimes it is
not about a bigger salary, but being true to those who
helped you.
This, he was not a good coach prior to the Loyola gig, they gave him an opportunity to figure it out.

Chicago is a great recruiting ground, they could become another Gonzaga
Don’t know if he stays but Pollard was going all out to get him and PM wouldn’t even talk to him. So we shall see. BTW, Fred is not a good advocate for coaches to go to Ames. PM was number one on the list and Pollard realized he was not getting a good coach so went to his buddy. Yikes. Woof.

LMFAO. You can’t seriously believe this? He’s not going to pass up a $20,000,000 payday to stay at Loyola.

The right job with the right AD would be my educated guess. I know ISU tried and failed. But he has time.

Im guessing Pollard just sent him one half ass email didn’t hear back in like 15 mins, then told TJ it was all his.

Sometimes people have different reasons for staying. Nobody has been able to pry Few out of Gonzaga, Recently he got pay bumps, but guy was under a million most of his time at Gonzaga.

There are guys like a decent pay check, at a place with a chance to win, and don't have to deal with the ridiculous pressure that comes with it.

Pollard tried way harder than that I heard from a mutual friend. And PM was all “no.” He knew it was coming and he did his own diligence. And it was a no. I heard 4 times a no. Well Pollard tried.

And for every Mark Few there are literally 200 guys who leave and take the $20,000,000.

Not to mention places like Spokane Washington have a lot higher quality of life than Chicago these days. The city’s become a hell hole.

And for 200 guys that make coaching changes 199 of them had winning records at previous schools with lots of success.

This guy was on the trash heap. His story is a much different one.

Would love to see the list of 200 NCAA coaches who are making 20 million...

Are you really this stupid or just really bad at trolling?

There are easily 200 coaches with NCAA experience that make more than he does right now.

He will get $20M+ if he leaves EASILY...

He seems very happy where he is and had his pick after the final four run and I'm guessing he was offered a boat load of money then as well. Sure he could leave but I'm not sure what makes you so confident considering he's already been through this scenario and said no then.

Because he’s in a much better position now than he was in 2018 with a better resume for the very top tier of jobs. The win today was better than any in 2018 by far. Look at his season by season results. Roy Williams will be 71 this year, coach K is 74. You’re telling me if one retires and they offer him the UNC or Duke job he turns them down to stay at Loyola? ZERO CHANCE. Also, Chicago has become even more of a hell hole since 2018. He will leave in the next 2 years when the right job for him and his family opens. Almost every single coach with his options does.

He’s from Chicago. Give it up with the hellhole thing. You’re being an idiot. He makes a million right now. Guessing he’ll go up to 1.3 maybe 1.5. That’s not bad.

There is zero chance either one of those jobs would ever be offered to him.

Will be interesting to see if he can keep landing overlooked talent though. Replacing Krutwig will be hard.

John Wooden retired from UCLA at the age of 64. He lived
to be 99 years old. They are still trying to replace him at
UCLA. Even Alford could not do it. Let Porter Moser build
his dynasty at Loyola.

Zero? LMFAO. He makes the final four again he’s practically the leading candidate.

Weird he has zero chance but Duke and UNC sites are already calling for him To be a candidate right now.

I‘d say there’s zero chance you understand basic probability....

It’s easy to have a dynasty when you illegally pay your players and are the biggest cheaters in all of college sports, genius.

Chicago is a hell hole? I think you've been watching too much right-wing news. It's the only cosmopolitan city in the Midwest.

ChiDoc not the sharpest knife in the drawer. In case you hadn't noticed. 😉

You're so freaking clueless you were claiming Wieskamp was coming back last week. Pretty ironic the guy who’s consistently the most clueless basketball poster since Kilroy calls himself bbhawk. Duke and UNC sites are already calling him a candidate, moron. He WILL be getting blue blood offers in short order.

Why don’t you do everyone a favor and focus on your personal courageous battle with trisomy-21?

Don't forget Moser's years as an assistant under Rick Majerus at St. Louis after he was fired at Illinois State......
