Wow, this is a poor showing so far. I thought Rebraca was a scorer. If he can't score against Portland State, not sure what hope there is against non-cupcake teams. Kris needs to start over him. Rebounding is going to be a major problem for this team. Not sure how Ulis or Joe T. get better sitting on the bench. Connor and Jbo have been equally underwhelming at the point.
Bs he does this all the time. Connor plays like sh1t but still plays. Jordan had done nothing this game.
Ulis brought some rhythm and flow to the team when he came in, and he played good D, too. Iowa has 2 valid options at PG so might as well use them, right?
First game back after being injured? Give him a break.

Both Connor and PMac need someone to tell them they are not in the NBA and to cut all the step-back crap out. Both have had open shots, but chose to increase the degree of difficulty with the step back. PMac has been out a couple of games, so I will attribute his play to rust. Connor still has 0 offense despite Fran telling us he is going to showcase his game this year. Same old dribble to the free-throw line and circle back out turning his back to the basket.
He looked like this before that. He hasn't played well in any game. Makes me wonder if he's been healthy in any of them including this one.
With a coach other than Fran, I would think it would be clear that Kris needs to start over Rebraca and that Perkins should start over Jbo or PMac. If there aren't more versatile scoring options on the floor, this team will need 35 from Keegan every game to not get blown out. Thinking a PG from the portal would have been a good idea. Yikes, dreadful PG play by all so far.

Traveled on his only shot. He’s such a whiner. Starting to remind of McCabe from a few years ago.
As soon as you realize he wants to have one his boys playing all the time, then you understand why Kris Murray and Perkins are backups and why CMAC started when PMAC was out
his defense is awful, so his offense is good in comparison. He is good ball handler/some dribble drive, gets lost on defense and goes after shot blocks without blocking shots---so not much of a rebounder.
Iowa better be careful. Don’t like that it’s still a 10 point game and I doubt PSU turns it over another 15 times this half.
Probably because a) he’s the only one who can score and b) he’ll have to play the whole game
