This will probably only make sense to LinkedIn users, but there is the section where you can go to see people you may know (I think that's how they word it). Anyway, I probably check it once a week and in quite a few cases I find myself saying "Damn, I wish I really did know her!"

Today's installment:

I consistently get invites from young, attractive Asian women who are executives at Bank of Hong Kong. Either it's spam, or I need to find a way to work there.

Good timing of me seeing this post ... I just checked my Linked In account as I only check it about once a month ... In the two years I have had my account I can say with 100% honesty I have not benefitted whatsoever from having an account ... I just get strange requests from some dude named "Pepperman" ... :)

I hear this all the time. I have an account and I never check it. The stock has been weak over the last year, but early signs that people were losing interest go back to mid 2013.

I'm not sure how one defines "benefiting" from the site. I'll throw out two things that it has helped me with, or at least two ways I've found value in it:

1) I've had headhunters message me on job openings. One of them was of real interest, but ultimately I didn't choose to pursue it.

2) I'm not on Facebook or any other social media site for keeping in touch with friends. But I am LinkedIn with most of my friends so when they get a promotion or post something positive about their business, that's where I tend to pick up on it.

Don't you have to view their profile to see the pic, and can't they see who viewed their profile?....seems like we could get a lot of upset ladies in this creeper thread.

No, you don't have to do that. I mean, feel free to do it that way, but you're correct that they can know who was viewing their profile... what I did is Google the name and grab an image link off Google.

But even if you DID view their profile, I find people view mine all the time. Usually it appears to be college kids or people that I know through work. Occasionally it is somebody I don't know, but whatever...

This isn't even somebody I might know on LinkedIn. I was trying to find somebody else and stumbled on this photo, so thought I'd share:

I just got the shivers.

Those jaws getting a twitch and locking down on your left (or right, but I'm left handed) you know what.

Ugghh.
