Not sure if this has been posted yet, but a lot of questions may have been answered. 1st, all the Clark naysayers who doom and gloomed and said he was done for the year. Not so much. Brands said he could've wrestled at Midlands and they were being conservative with him. He said Clark will be in the lineup next week against Michigan.

Second, he didn't come right out and say he is pulling Marinelli's shirt, but it looks like that what's going to happen. If Brands is open to it and Alex wants to, then I'm not sure what the hold up will be. Huge test right off the bat against Masa v Michigan. If it was such an obvious, terrible idea Tom Brands wouldn't be so open to it.

I've been a fan of pulling his shirt this year and letting him go. Alex is good enough to get on the stand in March and Gunther isn't. Alex gives us a shot Joey doesn't.

We're not going to be very good next year, so why not shirt him next year and let him continue to develop and get stronger. Shirt Young this year and let him go 165 next year. Then Kaleb can spend his off season getting his body bigger for 174.

I am pleasantly surprised / amazed to hear that Clark could go against Michigan. Regardless of what the injury is / was, it seems like a quick recovery.

Regarding any injury, I will always be a wet blanket. I am always "let's get them back on the mat before we get really excited" so I guess I will be waiting another week before I start the "unshirt Marinelli talk".
