They would be without their top 6 guys next year.
 
Seeing as it's on the road, the tougher...the better. I doubt we'll be in the running for Duke, UNC or Virginia but I'm not sure I'd completely rule it out. Even Louisville or Florida State would be playing with house money on the road. Same goes for the Gavitt, and if that one's at home, then I think it's one we really have to get. It's starting to look like 8-3 would be a really successful non-conference campaign, but we'd be in better NET shape than we were with 11-0.

True, NET shows it's better to lose to good competition than win close vs the Bryant's of the world.

Iowa has had a propensity to schedule teams ranked below 250 in the non conference when they could get wins vs the mid majors in the 100-200 range and maintain a much stronger NET. Wins over Bryant and Savannah State can actually be counterproductive.
