So is Paddock unable or not making 165? Or is Gunther beating him for the spot? Guess I thought Paddock would man 165 until a decision was made on Marinelli.

Last year, I was under the impression that the cut to 165 was too difficult for him...I'm wrong a lot though.

I was at the open practice. Marinelli was right in front of me, so I spent most of the time watching him. From when I was watching him I didn't see him get taken down once. He is the real deal. I can't wait to see him this year.

Paddock is certified at 165 pounds, but I am going off my own gut feeling that the cut to 165 is just too steep for him. That and I thought Gunther had a pretty solid redshirt season
