Ojemudia is on the 3rd if not 2nd team. He was better than Hankins this year.

Stanley is at least honorable mention. Look at the field. Fields, Morgan and maybe Patterson ahead of him.

He probably does make honorable mention. He made some great throws, no doubt, but overall the word "inspiration" does not come to mind. Nice kid, but too much Rudock, not enough Tate in him.

I think Iowa was reviewed fairly when it came to awards. The players that warranted it got the recognition deserved. I think both coaches and media lists were reasonable assessments.

Seems about right. But damn we had a top 10 scoring defense. Amazing special teams and an offense with multiple future NFL picks. Statistically the 2nd greatest passer of all time. Not to mention we had Penn State at home. I hope we win our bowl game, otherwise feels like another missed opportunity

There will certainly be an element of missed opportunity for the last 2 years. No doubt. I would say more so with 2018, in that the home losses to Northwestern and Wisconsin were just gut-punchers where it felt like Iowa was the better team. 2019 losses were all close, but every team was good.

Other than random luck (fumbled and muffed punt against Wisconsin in 2018, don't recover any of the 3 fumbles against Michigan in 2019), what stands out the last two years was a lack of a real difference-maker on offense. The QB or the RB who could make something out of nothing.
