Pretty sure I know what the top 6 will be. Oklahoma and Florida 7 and 8 if Utah loses.

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Oho St
4. Notre Dame
5-10. Doesn't matter, but if they're not all SEC teams, it will get all kinds of criticism

We will sadly drop to 6 or 7, both undeservedly and deservedly.

Top 5 stays the same. Okie state may move up 6. But their performance was just not very good. At least according to the criteria set by the CFP committee. Well, and everyone else in general.

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. OSU
4. Notre Dame
5. Oklahoma (just beat the flashiest of flashy teams or so the committee will say)
6. Iowa
7. Oklahoma State
8. Florida

5 undefeated left, you left out Houston.

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Ohio State
4. Iowa - Temple lost, how many Top 25 wins for ND now?
5. Notre Dame
6. Oklahoma State
7. Oklahoma
8. Utah (currently winning @ Zona)
9. Baylor
10. Florida
This except no way Iowa passes ND based on our performance.

I think Iowa will stay 5 until either we lose, win b1g championship, or OSU loses. I just don't think the b1g is good enough to have 2 teams in the top 4. If Iowa and osu remain unbeaten and play in b1g championship, the winner goes to playoff, other drops to 7-12.

#1 Clemson (10-0)
#2 Alabama (9-1)
#3 Ohio State (10-0)
#4 Notre Dame (9-1)

OU and UF might be flipped, but otherwise, I think this will most likely be what the new CFP poll (T10) will look like.

I think UNC jumps into top 10. I don't think OK jumps us; not with their loss to Texas.

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Ohio State
4. Notre Dame
5. Iowa
6. Oklahoma State
7. Oklahoma
8. Florida
9. Baylor
10. Michigan State

Same first 4
Okie 5
Iowa 6
Florida 7
Okie state 8
Baylor 9
MSU 10

Don't see iowa hanging with anybody in the top 4. Too many holes in the defense, much of which is schematic which won't change.

When is said and done, Clemso and Notre Dame will not be 1st round opponents.

At this point just run the table and hope OSU runs the table as well to both get to the Big Ten championship undefeated. This guarantees with a win and you make the final four and worst case a loss and the consolation is the Rose Bowl. Happy with either outcome!!!!!

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Ohio state
4. Notre dame
5. Iowa
6. Oklahoma
7. Okie state
8. Florida
9. Michigan state
10. North Carolina (I personally think they are the best one loss team, but that's me)

I know it doesn't matter whatsoever in the grand scheme of things, but it would be absolutely AWESOME if Iowa jumped N.D. this week. You thought the past week was entertaining to listen to the pundits.....

Don't think it will happen, though, even with the Stanford and Temple losses. Had Iowa State and Indiana been able to finish off their upsets, it very well could have happened, though.

Top 5 the same
6. Okie St
7. Okla
8. Mich St
9. Florida
10. N. Carolina
11. Houston
12. Baylor

I can't see how they could move anyone above us, unless their discussion this week inexplicably has different "values", similar to our move last week. BAD loss by OU will keep them out of top 5 for now. Okie state resume hasn't changed. Interesting point by the person who mentioned that Temple is no longer Top 25, though - but is Navy now top 15 and does that matter?

Hawks stay at #5

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Ohio state
4. Notre dame
5. Iowa
6. Oklahoma
7. Okie state
8. Florida
9. Michigan state
10. North Carolina (I personally think they are the best one loss team, but that's me)

I saw the other day an "expert" put North Carolina on upset alert against Miami and laughed out loud. It was maybe the dumbest prediction I've ever heard. Makes you realize that you could probably hand a microphone to the first drunk you see in a bar and he would do a better job.

I think we stay at number 5, MN was a quality win. Ohio State did not blow them out, and they have played everyone tough.

Indiana and ISU both showed that they can beat anyone with a few breaks going their way.

The amount of parity this year in College football this year amazes me.

BTW, Alabama is the best team in the country right now. Damn how I hate them.

No they're not. They are beating SEC teams. Wait until they play somebody, then they'll get exposed.

As much as I wouldn't want to play Alabama right now, Oklahoma might scare me more. OU has a very good running game like Alabama and they have a stud at QB.

I think top 5 stays the same. Bama is best team in country right now and their RB Henry should be heisman frontrunner. The issue I have is ND. Who have they beat? The best win was probably Temple but now Temple is headed out of top 25. They have beat Navy which is likely their best win. GTech isnt any good, UVa isnt any good, UMass sucks, Texas is terrible, etc. USC isnt terrible but not great. I am just frustrated at how the committee is rewarding ND for not playing in a conference against poor teams....

I am not going to predict what the pollsters say as they really are sold on ratings and scores. Clemson may be number one with the pollster but watching UNC and Clemson play leads me to believe that UNC WILL beat Clemson in the ACC championship as Gene "Cheesedick" Chizik has the UNC defense playing like a very good SEC club. The ACC football brand is lower that the SEC, B1G and Big 12.

The overall weakest of the ACC leads me to loathe the overrated position that Notre Dame currently holds. LSU and Bama would beat the snot out of the Iwish {no misspelling} pretenders. Notre Dame is better than Florida but not by much and not top 8 material. Notre Dame has not beaten any quality team. Look at USC and Georgia Wreck, a ranked Temple, a mediocre Pitt which has declined since the Iowa game, Weak Forest and BC are cupcakes. I just hope Stanfraud beat the Iwish and ends their season playoff hopes.

I would place Bama as number 1 with tOSU as number 2 and Clemson #3. Iowa is number 4 but a little shaky as the defense got exposed last night and Iowa's OTs are not doing a great job. We need Ike Boettger back soon. Too bad Drew Ott got hurt as Iowa's pass rush is subpar without him.

Oklahoma get my number 5 spot, followed by North Carolina at 6, Baylor 7, Okie State 8, Notre Dumb 9 and Florida 10 with Stanfraud at 11. I see Baylor beating Okie State next week and Stanfraud beating Notre Lame in two weeks. Florida will not win the SEC conference title game as their QB has a weak long range arm like Rudock. UNC will beat Clemson and clinch a playoff spot. Iowa's game against a rested Nebby team in Lincoln is a trap. Ohio State seems to be on cruise control for now. So much talent but always playing well enough just to win.

Surprised to see OK State getting so much love. Didn't hear anything about the Hawks.

Alabama and OU are the two best teams in the Nation in my opinion. I have no doubt we could play with anyone else in the Country.

Not sure what Oklahoma State did over the past weekend to move up at all, other than remain undefeated. Anyone?
