Prolly Pepsi but are we good with the government owning social media such as Tik Tok?

Like china....... the people who have a system where the government owns a golden ticket and gets the final say on everything....... not sure if serious.

To answer your question, no.

No, the government should not own any social media. Really, the government shouldn't own any "media," but I do see value in AFN, and some of the military publications that keep troops in the loop on military news globally.

PBS and NPR are borderline, and NPR has become a bit propagandized and should probably go.

NPR and PBS are independent public corporations rather than government owned. Taxpayers contribute a big part of their budget, of course, but they are also heavily supported by foundations and private donors.

Ok, I did know they raised money outside taxes but didn't know they were independent. Taxpayer dollars shouldn't go to either.

I didn't even like it when my parents could see what I was saying on social media. Hard no to my government.
