If you take all of the known teachings of Jesus, and then put them into an AI chat bot, the vast majority of Christians in our country will be very offended at the responses they get.
Jesus' teachings and actions reflect a deep compassion for immigrants and outsiders. He often emphasized the importance of welcoming and caring for strangers. For example, in the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus highlighted the virtue of showing kindness to someone from a different background. He also praised the faith of foreigners, such as the Roman centurion and the Syrophoenician woman, and healed people from various regions without discrimination2.

In Matthew 25:35-40, Jesus said, "I was a stranger and you invited me in," linking the treatment of strangers to eternal life. His ministry consistently demonstrated that divine love and compassion extend beyond national or cultural boundaries.

This perspective aligns with the broader biblical message of treating immigrants with love and fairness, as seen in passages like Leviticus 19:33-34, which instructs, "Any immigrant who lives with you must be treated as if they were one of your citizens. You must love them as yourself".

I went a different route and drank bourbon straight.
It was actually an interesting process. I started by asking it for the basic daiquiri recipe which is just rum, lime and simple syrup. I asked it about using one of my rums and it said it was a great choice. I didn't have simple syrup only demerara syrup and it told me how that might change the flavor and suggested a rum old fashioned. I told it what rums I had to work with and it gave me a breakdown on each and how it would effect the flavor and suggested which would be most balanced. I didn't have orange peel so it said I could add a dash of orange curaçao, which I had.
I'll use it in the future for recipes.

That's pretty cool. I'll definitely give that a try.

All the more reason to do that.

So many "good Christians" with so many unChristian values. Maybe they'd learn something.

The question is, could you trust those who created the AI not to corrupt it?

Well spoken, Sir.

Dropped about 800 dollars there yesterday. Good news won’t need toilet paper, garbage bags, deodorant, hand soap, etc etc For a couple years. Seriously though went in and bought a couple hundred dollars worth of maxi pads for the wife’s Afghan refugee students. Not much concept of female hygiene coming from the Taliban.

The white Jesus never said THAT!

Any time someone mentions the Samaritan I immediately think of this.

The setup is that our frazzled bookstore owner is trying to do his taxes and is looking for any excuse or distraction to give him a break.

The bit in question is about 2 minutes. Worth it.
