What a fun year so far it's been and as someone posted earlier (maybe in Blair's or Tom's) article we are 16-4 after the Doyle situation....I said to myself when that unfortunate incident happened for the players and the program it would either make us stronger or destroy our program..... Well I felt if anyone would lead us right it was Ferentz and he with others made us stronger! He's a great leader!
Since then we've gone 16-4, won the West, have another 2 games to play, and have a team that has the potential to be very good in 2022. They're also recruiting very well in my mind with a few more BIG players to land in this class and in the 2023 class.
The team is just coached the right way and the players for the most part genuinely love K Ferentz and staff along with the Hawkeye Nation.
Were lucky to have Coach Ferentz and I personally hope he stays for at least another 3-5 years as he looks and sounds great!
