Alford was ‘99. I think this was a game where Kingsbury scored 30+ could be wrong it was quite awhile ago.

No, Alford's 1st year we played #1 and defending champion UConn in NYC in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic (lost to Stanford in the championship game). Not a bad 1st game for Steve, knocking off the #1 team.

CSB.... I have the #1 game worn road jersey for Iowa's Rob Griffin in that game. is't the 1st time an Iowa player wore #1 in a game, and did it vs. the #1 team. It's hanging in my man cave.

Really looking forward to the 1995 UConn game and the 1996 PSU football game, along with the 1997 Wrestling, just because I've never seen them complete before. We didn't get ESPN2 yet in 1995 and was only listening to the radio for the football game on a trip. I do think I'd prefer to see the whole Kansas 1998 bball game though rather than the two Wisconsin games, ESPN (in the UI dorms at least) missed the whole first half because some Luke Recker guy for Indiana hit a game tying shot before losing in OT. I'd have liked to see the win over #1 MSU three years ago too, but I guess we beat them so bad it wasn't really a "classic".

All games set to record on DVR. This is great help to get us to fball season with these on DVR for summer now.

It might even be the game he banked in a 3 from the corner. I remember telling someone about it the next day at the park and actually banked in a 3 while demonstrating how he did it. I tried it again 20 times after that and missed badly.

Like I said, there are much better ones out there where you can clearly see Jordan holding the follow through, there is no graphic or ref in the way. Much more "HD" if you will. It really is cool.

FYI - I went on to ESPN's schedule to figure out times for the afternoon programming and their website shows all the afternoon programming starting an hour later than the Hawkeye Sports article.

ESPN has the 1997 Wrestling starting at 3 pm EDT or 2 pm CDT.
It all hinges on whether the 2002 Penn State football game will take 2 hours or 3 hours.

Since all the other FB games get 3 hours and that game went into OT, I'm guessing that ESPN's schedule is correct.
