I don't recall the city doing this anytime previously but at least its trying to be proactive and pre-emptive in preparation for the visitor onslaught this weekend. With most (sports) eyes in the US focused on Iowa City for the big game this weekend and FOX in town (setting up on the Pentacrest) for a national broadcast, the city sent out an email this AM detailing where city parking facilities are for visitors, how to access/ride transit, what 'special routes' are being set up for Saturday, etc.
