Any recent Linux converts here? If so, which flavor(s) of Linux do you recommend to make the transition from Windows easier?

Experienced Linux folks are welcome to comment, too. I just figured anyone who did it recently might have thought this through from a Windows-user's perspective, more than would be the case for experienced Linux geeks.

Some CPUs that previously qualified for Windows 11 won't qualify for the fall upgrade - including 2 of mine. I hope you have better luck.

At least you’re not losing security support, which will happen to Windows 10 in October.

I have good luck with Ubuntu. There are guides on how to do about anything in it online, and I'm going to be switching my main PC back over too that because MS has become too invasive, even more so than before.
