PU WINS-Everyone doing everything they can to help Iowa....except Iowa !

I hope the guys can step it up and find a way to win tomorrow.
We can lose tomorrow and STILL have a chance at title, but enough is enough. Time to EARN IT!

OSU is 10-6 in league play, and playing at home.... but they're also 1-6 vs the top 8.

I thought they did vs. Wisconsin... just didn't make shots down the stretch and Wisconsin did.

I missed this thread but spot on OP.. Everyone gets excited for all the other things falling into place but Iowa doesn't look like they'll hold up their end at all..

Good point. I really didn't think Iowa played terrible, they just didn't make shots. It is, unfortunately, the same reason the team 2 years ago had their downward spiral. Why it makes me nervous. Snap out of their funk and watch out.

No reason why the Hawks shouldn't win tomorrow. OSU has talented players, but they don't play with any consistency on either end of the court. Hawks just need to start making some shots.

I'm no basketball expert at all...but to me they had too many unforced TOs and too many ugly shots. They've certainly made plenty of tough shots, but if you keep taking em...sooner or later it's gonna come back to haunt you.

The TO's in the 1st half were mind boggling I remember 3 vividly where they just literally threw it away.

We had four turnovers more than Wisconsin. Didn't help, but our shooting did us in. imo.

The way it looks now, if Iowa does pull off a Big Ten Championship they will have stunk less at the end than Indiana and Maryland. An important note, I think, because Indiana and Maryland are not trying to "give" us anything.

I finally watched the PU-MD game on ESPN game watch replay.

They were discounting IA all game long, handing IN the B1G regular season championship all game long if MD lost. Barely recognized the IA has a very realistic possibility of at least sharing the title.

I really hope the IA players were watching that garbage and come out pissed off!

Hmmmmmm... Interesting. I watched that entire game, rare for me as I have 3 kids, but if didn't think they shot Iowa down at all. Quite the opposite. Duike v. Has Iowa in the elite 8!!!!!! Not many Iowa fans have us that far right now. Also, they said all Indiana had to do is go best Iowa in Iowa, no easy task. Hardly disrespectful towards Iowa.

I vividly recall his comment "If Purdue wins / Maryland loses, the B1G race is over" - or something to that effect, but very close. Hello???, IN plays IA in Iowa City with 1 game separating them at this point. That was somewhat early in the game and he did back peddle later on, probably because he was reminded about that fact offline. May have tainted my perception of subsequent commentary.

This is third time in last three weeks that IN and MD have had losses that have looked like they would help Iowa chance for title. Except, we have a team and coaches who are taking advantage of this. wispy was not a good game at all. we would play well for about 3 minute stretch and then have about 90 seconds of defensive lapses, brain farts on offense, or bad coaching and it would be gone. spending a lot of energy during those 3 minute stretches too
