Surprising call. You would think they had a play that would at least have a 50/50 chance of making 2 yards.
Haven't run an actual functioning play on any of them so hard to tell. Bad snaps/brian ferentz play calls have shown up on every attempt.
The outcome of the game is really irrelevant. It’s all these mistakes when it comes to clock management and game management that have never been addressed and will continue to hamper this offense. Case in point Capital One Bowl like 20 years ago with Drew Tate.
Awful decision. Can still hold to FG. First down or TD ends game either way.
This loss is similar to Kentucky loss. Afraid to play for win in a consolation game. Sick of it.

Missed almost the entire 2nd half. What the hell? Looked like Lester had the green light the 1st half. Did KF say that was enough and revert to Ferentz ball in the 2nd?
Starting to wonder if they even practice any plays for it.
Lester was as much to blame this game. He chose to throw on 3rd and 2 multiple times when we were dominating in the run game - and we converted exactly 0 times in those situations. And of course then also never went for it on 4th down until the joke of a QB sneak attempt at the end. Entire coaching staff sucked it big time today.
The problem is we don't have the type of powerful offensive line we have in the past.

I mean most analytics would tell you 4th and 2 there is definitely a go. It’s just maddening. From that point on we scored 3 points the rest of the way. These are not little things. It’s all part of playing to win.
