Purdue could win it all this year

When they’re on they’re on... Cline, Edwards.. all of them ... they have one shoe in that’s for sure

Not exactly saying you're wrong, but you realize they just beat a team in OT that we just took to OT just 4 days ago, right? Does that mean Iowa can win it all when they're "on?" I suppose you could say that about 50 or so teams.

They did their duty, taking down Tennessee to avenge Iowa (someone needs to capitalize on the "Avenge the Fallen" meme from Avengers Endgame and make one for Iowa being avenged by Purdue....).

But I think much like how Tennessee ran put of steam and got things to go against them after getting the breaks against us, Purdue is probably gonna run into the same issue with Virginia.

Virginia is much better on defense and while Purdue is a great shooting team, some of their guys are hitting VERY tough SHOTS and scoring well above their pace, including Edwards.

Also, while we all want the Big Ten to win, there's only so much winning I want a team with Matt Haarms to experience.....;)

After a while, you're like okay that guy's had enough. Time to cut him off.

Purdue has the guard (Edwards) who can cause fits for any team. Look in the past and most champions have a good/great PG. Now if Klein can get going they are pretty tough cause now you have worry about both of them.

They will need to shore up there FT shooting. My Lord that was awful watching the teams shoot FTs last night.

I give them little chance to win it all.

They could get to final 4. Virginia always looks beatable, of course then they sick you into meat grinder.

Cline is a JBo like clutch 3-point machine, and he was never better than he was yesterday vs. Tenn. I'm not sure the ball ever touched the net. He was Steph Curry spectacular. And it was awesome to see the Big Ten send the Admiral sadly off to his home port.

BTW: If Tenn had shot FTs, or shot in general as poorly late against Iowa, the Vols would have gone down to the Hawkeyes. Once again, if you think luck isn't a huge part of success in anything, including this tournament, you may want to think again. ;)

Hard to win any tournament when you are that bad at Free throws. It was driving me crazy! Make your stinking free throws!

Not at all..... They were just the number one team in the country for about a month of the season and a top eight team in this tournament.

Good call on not that good. You can’t make this crap up.

Tennessee was a dang good team. They certainly had the goods to win it all (or at least make an even deeper run)- good offensive/defensive balance, experienced players, and more talent than they're given credit for. They had certain weaknesses that Colgate, Iowa, and Purdue exploited: They weren't the best at defending the three, and had a tendency to fall asleep for a half.

Purdue was firing on all cylinders for 30 minutes against Tennessee. They're going to need to do that for a full 40 from here on out if they're going to go any further.

At this point, it's going to be a total crapshoot. Every remaining team can win it all, and every remaining team has enough weaknesses to go home by Sunday night. Gonzaga might be the team to beat at this point - outside of playing a crap regular season schedule, they seem to be humming at the right time.

In all fairness as bad as we were, Purdue shoots 73% as a team and Edwards 86%...... But yes, the FT shooting last night was abysmal!

Going to be tough now.
