They say it's hard to beat somebody 3 times in a row.
But then we beat Pissconsin 3 times last season...
Let Lady Luck be on our side today!

I'm a little worried about Filip and Jordan's backs and how they are holding up.

Filip because he had to give TJD involuntary piggy back rides all day yesterday, and Jordan because he's been lugging around those massive stones for the past 24 hours. I guess he's probably used to it by now though?

Interestingly, 2 of Iowa's worst 4 shooting games in conference both came against Purdue. A team who's struggled some on defense

eFG%
@Rutgers - 32.8%
@Penn St - 42.2%
Purdue - 43.8%
@Purdue - 44.4%

Purdue had an eFG% of 74.5% in Iowa City!

Purdue shot ridiculously well in Iowa City (helps when we give them wide open looks but still). Regression to the mean hopefully equals tight game.

How about a Sandfort three to clinch the game in the same spot Alex Thompson hit in 2006?

question is who is officiating today?
If Courtney Green or Paul Szelc are involved , we’re most likely screwed.
(Paul Zelc is an ignorant scoundrel and I disapprove of his very existence )

Won’t it be 3 of the 6 from yesterday? Hope they call the handsy defense correctly.

unfortunately now the Tournament Committee has to put Richmond (which just now upset Davidson) into the NCAA Tournament.

The A-10 does not deserve 2 teams in the Big Dance but they will get it.
