How did the high school football season go overall?
“This season went really great. I felt like we were playing some great football towards the end of the year after a tough start. We had a really good group that got better every day.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I am in basketball and track and have been getting in the weight room pretty consistently.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Next year, I think that we will have a great team if everyone gets in the weight room all spring and summer. The mindset is that we can do some really big things in the fall and work hard so we can play to the best of our abilities collectively as a team.”

What schools have offered you at this point in recruiting?
“The University of South Dakota.”

What other colleges have been recruiting you?
“NDSU, Iowa, and Drake.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Probably NDSU.”

Have you made any college trips yet or do you have any plans for trips ahead?
“I have not due to the dead period being extended.”

What type of interest have you received from Iowa?
“I have had phone calls with Coach Kelvin Bell and so has my coach.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college as a kid was Nebraska.”

How was the call with Coach Bell?
“My call with Coach Bell was great. Iowa sounds like a really great program with plans to do great big things in the future.”

How do you feel about the Iowa program?
“Iowa is a really great program. One thing that stands out about them is how they develop every kid there to reach their ceiling.”

When visits open back up, what schools are you trying to see?
“If possible, I’d love to visit USD, NDSU, Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska.”

What habit that you have done has allowed you to be recruited by Division I schools?
“I believe that my frame is a big part, but also my physicality and how I don’t give up on plays and the amount of work I put in the weight room.”
