QC Times article on Bowen

He is going to be a good one for us. Between Bowen, Ulis and Connor we have the PG position in good shape. Perkins can play the 1 as well.
Sounds like Dasonte could play the 2. Picking 2 from Dasonte, Ahron and Tony would make for an extremely fast and athletic back court! Throw in a recovered and healthy Josh D and it could be a pretty salty group.

In this article, Bowen makes it clear about the effort that McC and his staff put in during the recruiting process. It was non-stop, thorough, and successful.

Phenomenal job by Fran. :)

In case you missed these videos from Wed July 20 that I posted in another thread....

Dasonte talks about, among many things, adjusting to the Midwest, the quicker pace of college ball & learning how Iowa plays defense. ;) He's getting up 700 shots/day with 400 (57%) -500 (71%) makes. Note what he says about Keegan and how Fran & the Iowa program have opened up some eyes when it comes to what's possible.

Fran talks about the recruitment of Dasonte.

Regarding the PG completion, Fran stated that:

* Ulis, in his 3rd year, is playing really well and Dasonte is a terrific player.

* Tony and Connor can also play the 1.

* He could play Ahron, Dasonte and Tony together.

Fran also stated that Josh Dix is expected to be ready to go Sep 1. The great thing is that Josh Dix has had no set backs on his road to recovery.

Add Harding, and Fran has a really nice assortment of talents to mix and match with. Future looking really good, Big O looking great, and could also have a variety of bigs if Fran can land Estrella or Power and Sandfort.
