Been in the QC for 6 years and I cannot for the life of me find a place with high energy to watch the game.

Trying to go somewhere with 4-8 people where there's more than just casual college football fans. Any suggestions?

Public House...nowhere else comes close. Pre-game and commercial break music to hype everyone up.
High volume during game so you can actually hear the game.
Great specials, including “Wave Bands” that can be purchased...all proceeds going to the Children’s Hospital.
I-O-W-A flags in all 4 corners of the bar.....Chants after every score just like in Kinnick
Johnna (co-owner) playing Her trumpet after every score- Go Hawks cheer and In Heaven there is no Beer after the game!
Usually a food vendor set up outside.
Great energy, awesome staff.
Try it out...you can flame me if you don’t agree!

Hands down the best experience for an Iowa game. Ive been over there a few times and its a blast. Pints also has a nice set up if your interested in watching the game, little smaller venue.

All of these will be packed with Iowa Fans. Also Rookies, Jersey Grille, and Harringtons are good spots to watch the game as well.

yup

I usually watch at Kinnick or home but I caught the Indiana game at Van's and it was fun. It wasn't packed but the people were laid back and the food was tasty.

Nice, thanks for the input. Yeah, I've been to Rookies and Pints which has been OK. Usually watch the game at home. Might try Public House.

Love that Illinois bars in the Quads crush the Hawks vs down state sisters. Go Hawks roll Tomorrow! Find a fun bar and I’m sure you will have many Hawk fans.

Filling Station is always a nice place to watch the game as well. Pull up a spot by the bar is you can.
