If anyone is familiar with the Bears of the Quad Cities, it’s QChawks!
I always enjoy seeing nature tell humanity to feck off.
That bear was just south of dubuque Saturday. Near Delmar Sunday. Monday afternoon it was outside DeWitt.

This is awesome. Let the Bears do whatever they want in Iowa. This was their land before we came and shot them all.

The Bears even heard about catfish man walking the street with a fish. If stupid humans can hand pick a catch then the bears are thinking they will feast.

Most likely a male bear searching for a mate and got kicked out his normal range by a bigger male. That'd be my guess anyway.
We get these sightings along the Mississippi every few years. Just a horny guy out carousing and got lost. Happens to the best of us.
I'm not fat, bald or ugly enough to switch teams. I've worked with fat, smelly men before, not seeing any attraction...
Black bears will also eat fish and mammals—including carrion—and easily develop a taste for human foods and garbage.
Well, that explains why the Quad Cities attracted them.

This says a lot about how much there is to do around here, lol.
Perhaps, but it’s just one more reason why QC is better than CR.
Humans ruin so much. My hope is that the Iowa DNR reaches out to Wisconsin, captures the bear, and it's transported back to a proper habitat. Maybe it wanders again, but this won't end well.
