Hey guys I have a question about when wins are vacated. What exactly does that mean for those prior seasons? Does it count as a forfeit of some kind? What happens to the w-l of every team they played that season? What about the national championship. For that year, if a NC is vacated, how is the winner determined? I’m confused.

Pretty sure it's a no-win for the guilty but still a loss for their foes. Likewise, it's a non-championship for the guilty but still a loss for the runner-up. Otherwise Iowa would have been later named the Big Ten basketball champs during one of the Clem Haskins years in Minnesota.
