I’m sure he’s interested in his legacy, from what is left for his family, investors, charities, and such.Man, if I was 93 I wouldn’t give a damn about the stock market.

I thought he said he isn’t leaving his kids anything.I’m sure he’s interested in his legacy, from what is left for his family, investors, charities, and such.
I would’ve picked up the tab for his table, just for the story.Probably about 10-15 years ago we were at Olive Garden in Omaha... guess who was at the next table over. Yep... WB. CSB.
Can you imagine being so absorbed into making money you can’t really do anything else? I know people like that. They aren’t as successful as Buffet haha but can’t relax and take up a hobby…It's the only thing he knows to do.
Without that, might as well just lay down and die.
He needs cash for hookers and blow, yo.
Now would be a good time for a hustler to make an investment pitch. Wasn't there a poster here with a brilliant sharve/razor business concept? If you listened to the shareholder meeting it's mostly a scale issue at this point. Finding good investments are possible and out there, but they are at much smaller scale than what he needs to use that cash. He talked about this quite a bit. I thought his comments about the way the gov't needed to perceive BH and what they do to position that as fascinating and possibly related.

Well, I agree that what you posted is correct, but meaningless and unexecutable.Okay, buy high and sell low and report back on how that works out for you.
Hell yeah, Buffett votes for Dems. Every CEO should "aspire" to be like Buffett.Everyone should inspire to be like Warren Buffet and not Bernie Sanders.
No it’s not. It’s value is what buyers and sellers say it is, every moment of every day,The market is over valued.
If this is true of Buffet, then even he is not successful. Can you imagine being so absorbed into making money you can’t really do anything else? I know people like that. They aren’t as successful as Buffet haha but can’t relax and take up a hobby…
You might want to study macroeconomics. No it’s not. It’s value is what buyers and sellers say it is, every moment of every day,

HE'S GONNA CRACK OPEN AN ICE COLD SPRITE AND OWN DA BETA CUCKS!!!!!!Everyone should inspire to be like Warren Buffet and not Bernie Sanders.
That's another part of the math that many have missed. BH does NOT issue dividends. The belief is that they can do better with the money than the individual investor. They have bought back shares, somewhere around $9 billion in 2023. Apple is setting up for another huge buyback and BH is not going to sell a huge part of their stake. That means that effectively BH shareholders will see additional buyback within the valuation framework. The cash that could have flowed from Apple to BH and sat in the pile will instead go to increasing ownership of Apple even if simultaneously BH is selling into the market to reduce the position. It could end up as a total net and the cash is on BH balance sheet...... BH won't want to be selling too much into the buyback as it would have a negative impact. It will be fun to watch this play out.Apple has grown so much they need to trim their position (over 50% of their portfolio.) Right now getting a 5% return on that cash through buying bonds makes sense, and then wait until valuation become more attractive.
