That's actually the topping. OP's pancakes are so dry, they need a little lubrication to go down the gullet.

JFC, that’s about as average to slightly below average of a cake I’ve ever seen. Are you stupid or something op?

Could be a couple shades darker brown. Shape is solid, but some wavy edges.

I'd give it a 7 out of 10 without tasting.

Needed more oil in the pan and a bit more heat. The oil will give you more even browning and the heat will make it darker.
