Has there been any official announcement about Toks Akinribade status? I know that KF said it "wasn't likely" that he would be back but wondering if it was official or not.

If he is cleared to play and will be on the team, what does that do to RB recruiting?

I'm thinking the Sargent commitment basically answers your question.

I agree it is strong supporting evidence but what if Toks unexpectedly told the staff he was coming back, could that explain why the staff told the 4 star ILL RB we our full?

I know we are all assuming the GA RB is a silent commit but this could explain the situation too.

Anyway, just wondering if Toks had official been released from roster.

From what I know, he hasn't been released. Very guarded situation, and I don't know why. I can only think that Sargent was a telegraphed replacement. But K Ferentz has openly said, that he would invite a grad transfer at the position. To me, Sargent isn't that. It makes me wonder if KF is nervous about this position. Toks, get your butt back in the game.

I assume he is still in limbo.

If Kirk was nervous about this position he would still be after the 4* Ill. recruit.

I doubt because of privacy issues they can release any information on the medical things...and that also might be why there hasn't been any "roster" info on him either.

Be patient, folks. It'll all come out eventually. There's more to worry about than one roster spot. Like, you know, Tok's health.
