In that regard, ^ what has Trump said/done that could possibly be any worse than a major political party [ideology] trotting out a candidate for the populace to freely believe their vote will go toward selecting said candidate to represent them in this 200+ year process, with absolutely ZERO intention of that candidate representing anyone if elected? To dumb that down a bit, did you leftists vote for jo to run the country, or did you vote for Anonymous to run the country? i think joe’s voters knew that decision making / running of the country would get delegated. but voters seem to have the confidence i suppose that responsible types would be put in charge. most of all that this approach in the short term was preferable (per these voters) to Trump. If the votes were cast under the above premise, can democracy still be considered to be subverted?

First, they manipulated the primary process to make sure brain dead jo was the, "people's choice." Why would they do that if his first four years in office were sooooooo amazing?
