The biggest opening next year will be Jordan Lomax's spot. Miles Taylor has good physical presence and Fentz and Parker do like their safeties to be not only good cover guys but punishers. I don't know much on Brandon Snyder but depth is needed ASAP. Any chance Barrington Wade becomes a Strong Safety?

I know they probably like him more as a LB as he seems to run high or more upright based on videos I saw and Toren Young and Eric Graham seem like quicker options at RB. Ilike that Iowa is get bigger DE~DL prospects in and finding more athletic LBs who can handle pass coverage. The secondary has been very good this year but the eligibility clock is ticking on the depth chart and some recruits have transferred out.

Also wondering if anyone has heard anything about K Mick Ellis. Seems like walk on K Miguel Recinos has the inside track for Koehn's spot. Only heard good things about Recinos but nothing about Ellis.

Doubt Barrington will be safety, I believe he's been quoted as saying it's LB/RB for him....

Ellis is redshirting this year due to doing some kicking early last year, which is why Recinos has done back up kicking

Gair/Snyder will compete for the spot. Gair has filled in at both S spots the last few years and played well. We will be good at S next year.

Wow you guys find things to worry about a lot. How about this to help make you feel better. We are 11-0!!

I am not 11- 0. The Iowa Hawkeyes football team is presently 11 and 0 looking to beat the Nebby Bugeaters and extend their winning streak. I have nothing to do with this winning streak but be a fan. Talking about tomorrow and projections is an interesting time consuming thing to engage in since I do not play any fantasy football.

Don't pee down my leg and tell me it's raining. And don't take credit for someone else's work.!
