The key is to have a bit of money on the sidelines for when the market does contract. Then you buy into equities relatively cheap. I have 60% in equities at moment with 40% in other investments - equities are very pricey right now IMO. That money is mixed between some high quality/relatively high yield municipal bonds, some CDs where I was getting high rates and some conventional corporate bonds. When and if the market contracts I will adjust to moving more money into equities.

Crypto will take off this year, then dump hard. I think inflation and recession fears start popping up at the end of the year, and I am not sure I see a safe area out there right now. Everything is a tad overvalued.

I just feel we are on such a good trajectory with headwinds being removed or lessened that the economy and market should be almost impossible to eff up. I say that as a never Trumper. Hope that I am right.
