96f, breaking the old high record of 94F for this date…..Wednesday they are talkin’ 100f for a high…..That is HOT for March even for Phoenix.
That was before I blew an engine in the mountains last week coming home…it has been one helluva trip this time…After haggling’ with the dealership (back home) that screwed up an oil change, looks like today I’m getting a new engine installed and a rental car to take home while the new engine is installed and shipped home to me….sometimes, nothing is easy! But….that’s the “solution” I was offered today…. Let’s see what they say tomorrow!I thought you went back home to Iowa?
Yikes! I hadn’t heard that story. Last I heard you were getting ready to head home. This has been an experience! I believe the tow fee from the other side of Payson to a dealership in Mesa was $730! Oh well, it’s only $$..sine if that may be retrievable thru insurance.Yikes! I hadn’t heard that story. Last I heard you were getting ready to head home.
That’s why I always change my own oil. Even dealerships sometimes fvck it up. I think they’re just in too much of a hurry to finish and move on to the next vehicle.
My Toyota came with lifetime free oil changes when I bought it. But they screwed up three times and I finally stopped taking it in. I would rather pay $50 to buy the oil and filter at Walmart and do the work myself than take the vehicle to them and have them do it for free. That’s how severe my trust issues are with mechanics.
Good luck with your engine.
